About Us

Hi guys! My name is Kaylie. I'm a book, internet, sleep, and food enthusiast. I am also a Potterhead, Tribute, Initiate, Fault Fanatic, Lunartic, Demigod, Nerdfighter, and just a fangirl for books in general. Reading is one of my biggest passions. And I know its kind of a cliché, but I love how when you read you get to see how others think, disappear into other worlds, and just escape from reality. I'm a huge Young Adult/Teen/YA (occasionally middle grade) book fan. Some of my favorite books/series include (but are not limited to) The Hunger Games, Divergent, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Lunar Chronicles, The Darkest Minds, The Throne of Glass, and The Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

Some other info about me is that I created the blog design and hope to learn a bit more about HTML and techy design stuff in the future. My hobbies include reading (of course), going on the internet, and hanging out with friends. I'm usually quiet in class, but loud with friends and very clumsy and forgetful. I also enjoy arts and crafts and love origami.

I wanted to start this blog with my friends, because we thought it would be a fun summer project and we all share a love for books and reading. So thus, the blog was born in the beginning of July 2014 (however this blog wasn't public until some time later, after the horrors of editing). I really hope you enjoy reading this blog and feel free to fangirl with us!

Greetings, Earthlings! My name is Christina. My hobbies consist mainly of reading, writing, dreaming, swimming, the internet, eating, and being in plays (especially musicals). I hope to be a writer or an actor when I grow up, though I know those are hard things to be.

I'm a Potterhead, a Sherlockian, and a big fan of X-men and Star Trek. I love the Harry Potter, Eragon, Uglies, I Am Number Four, Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy, Maximum Ride, and Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children series, anything by Roald Dahl, and many stand-alone books, including The Night Circus and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime.  My favorite genres are fantasy and sci-fi, though it's getting hard rather difficult to find a good sci-fi book these days (anyone out there agree?).

I am known to be very random, often talk in either a British or Scottish accent, and am often labeled as "unusually optimistic" (no such thing). Some of my other interests include music (Of Monsters And Men, Lindsey Stirling, Steam-Powered Giraffe, and The Beatles),
the musicals Newsies and Matilda, Team Starkid, cats, and dragons.

Hey, my name's Soumya. I'm a super reader and totally need a cape. I love to read because it's my way of escaping reality and divulging into someone else's life. Because, let's face it, dragons and potions are much cooler than math homework and P.E. I don't have a favorite genre of teen/YA book, you could find me reading a sci-fi novel or a baseball book. I'm unpredictable in that way. And in many other ways. I'm a book nerd through and through :)

I'm klutzy, quirky and just a hilarious person in general. I love dessert, fashion, good music, and of course the internet. I have no answer to the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" But some possibilities as of now include a fashion editor or a graphic designer, and on the opposite side of the spectrum, a lawyer or something to do with forensics.

As long as there is TV, nutella, and birthday presents, my teeny-tiny world will keep on going round. Oh, and books. Don't ever forget the books.

Hi everyone, I'm Alyssa! I'm friends with the other member of WTWE through school. I joined this blog because I wanted to use it as a platform to share my thoughts about books, connect with more bookish people, and learn more about computer/ tech design.

I love reading because I believe books are a great way to dive into other people's worlds, escape reality, and gain new perspectives on the world. I will pretty much read anything YA (sometimes middle grade or new adult), and almost every genre. Some of my favorite series include The Darkest Minds, Harry Potter, The Lunar Chronicles, Throne of Glass, and The Grisha Trilogy. While reading is my favorite hobby, some of my other interests include dancing, music, and photography.

I will try to contribute reviews, book events, and any other bookishness that I can think of. I'm excited to join the WTWE community and look forward to writing more posts soon!
